- Submission of satisfactory recent school reports and any examination results
We need to have a good understanding of your educational background, to know what qualifications you already have and to read what your teachers and tutors have said about you, both academically and as a member of a school community. We are looking for evidence of effort, achievement and good behaviour. - Successful interview either in person or by Skype/WeChat
The purpose of the interview is to allow us to find out what kind of person you are and where your strengths and interests lie. It is important that both you and we are confident that BIC is the right place for the next stage of your education and that you will be happy here. The interview is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the courses and/or the College. - Successful completion of the online CAT Mathematics and English Tests
These tests examine your numeracy and literacy skills and you must achieve a minimum level that indicates that you will be able to succeed on your chosen course with us. - English language proficiency (overseas students)
We must be satisfied that an overseas student has the required level of English language skills for academic studies on the University of London International Foundation Programme. If you have not already taken an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test or Cambridge exam, you must sit an equivalent diagnostic test. To be accepted on the IFP course you must have a minimum level of IELTS 6.0 or an equivalent recognised qualification at CEFR Level B2 minimum. - Successful application for a visa to enter the UK for study
BIC is happy to offer a support service to students who are applying for a visa, but the ultimate responsibility for the success of the application is yours. BIC cannot accept you on any course if your application is turned down for any reason. - Prompt payment of fees due
It is important that the Deposit and Course Fees due are paid by the stated deadlines, otherwise BIC will not be able to allow you to start your course.
